I solve problems through design
You can see my work throughout Toronto's distinct neighbourhoods and across the province including Ottawa, Collingwood, Guelph, Haliburton, and Alliston. I've also been lucky to work on exciting international projects in LA, Las Vegas, New York, Miami, Milan, Italy and Dubai, UAE.
I assess each design challenge, first, by listening. Each person and project is unique and although I have my own design style, I strive to help my clients flush out the right solutions for their particular problem. I like challenges. I like different. I like learning about what makes you tick. I like finding a solution so perfect that you'll feel like I just made a vast improvement to the way you experience the space around you, and yet, it feels like it fits you just right.
My design style embraces the qualities of natural beauty and simple lines while highlighting the juxtaposition of old and new, smooth contrasted with textured, and the simple against the complex. I have a great love and appreciation for old materials and architecture. I have worked in a variety of styles from Modern to French Country, from Mid-Century Modern to Shabby-Chic. I can appreciate them all and always have an eye on latest trends. I am experienced working on multi-million dollar projects to more moderate budgets for private family homes, condos and apartments. I love a new challenge and I bring fresh ideas, careful planning and organization, attention to detail and quality choices to all of my projects.
I graduated from Sheridan’s Interior Design Program in 2003 and have since been working with a wide range of private clients as well as award winning design firms including Cecconi Simone, Mike Niven Interior Design, Rowlands Associates Inc., Fay Soultanis Design Ltd., MCArchitects, Edmunston Matthews Architects, Designtheory, and Jackman Reinvents.
